Catharine "Cathy" Ina (Allen) Siders

Catharine Ina siders 64 of West Rochester, Atalissa Iowa passed away peacefully Saturday April 13th at Harmony House in Cedar Rapids Iowa. A celebration of life will be at a later date

Cathy, daughter of Cecil B. Allen and Helen Johnson Allen Vaverka, was born February 27th 1960 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  She attended Kennedy High School where she received her GED. She worked a number of professions until she was blessed with the birth of her first daughter, Brandy, in 1976. She then acquired her C. D. L and went trucking for a number of years. After having her second daughter Dee and her son, Erik Cathy worked as a bookkeeper for John Schultz in Stanwood, Iowa where she would meet the love of her life, her late husband Larry siders and later eventually marry. She would go on to be the manager of the steel wheel lounge and a secretary for siders tire service.  After a devastating diagnosis of cancer and upon Larry's passing in 2013, Cathy spent time on a number of different hobbies and taking care of her son, Erik.

Cathy is survived by her three children, Brandy Baxter of Cedar Rapids, Denise “Dee” Fogg and Erik Williams both of Tipton, grandson, Connor Rissi of Cedar Rapids, her brother James Vaverka, Jr and his wife Crystal of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and other brother, Jeff Allen, of Solon.
