Everette L. Sander

Everette L. Sander, 96, of Tipton, passed peacefully away on Monday, April 29, 2019 in his home. Funeral services and visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Fry Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm followed by services at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Inland Cemetery in Bennett. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. A memorial fund in his honor has been established for the Tipton Senior Dining Center.

Everette was born on March 3, 1923 southeast of Stanwood, Iowa. He was the son of William Henry and Ella Lunow Sander. He attended country schools in Stanwood and Mechanicsville. On January 23, 1943 Everette was united in marriage Irena Mae Andresen in Kahoka, Missouri. They had one daughter, Patricia (Pat). Everette worked as a carpenter since 1953 and for Fields Lumber for a time. Everette was a member of the Tipton Senior Dining and the First United Church of Christ.

Everette is survived by his son-in-law, Steve Boedeker of Bennett; granddaughters, Debra (Tyler) Rouse of Mechanicsville, Iowa and Dawn Frey of Clarence, Iowa; great grandchildren, Brighton Rouse, Lacey Rouse, Hilary Frey and Kylie Frey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene on April 20, 2013 and his daughter, Patricia Boedeker on January 29, 2012.
