Melva and Ransom worked side by side throughout their married life. They farmed until 1967 and moved into the town of Tipton. Together they took up the hobby of ceramics. They shared their talents with others, making many special friends along the way. Melva liked to cook and bake and guests could be sure to never leave her house hungry.
