Paul Meyer Obituary

Paul Jack Meyer, Jr, 71, of New Liberty, Iowa died peacefully in his sleep on February 20, 2019 in his home. Memorial services are currently pending with Fry Funeral Home in Tipton.

Jack was born on December 26, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa. He was the son of Paul Jack Meyer, Sr. and Julia Judy Janssen Meyer. Paul graduated from Bettendorf High School and served his country in the United State Army and also the United States Navy all during the Vietnam War. Jack married Shelly Lynn Millard on January 22, 1991 in Jamaica. He attended the Calvary Foursquare Church in Tipton.

Jack is survived by his wife, Shelly, of New Liberty, Iowa; his step daughter, Sandra Anderson of Tipton, Iowa; his son, Michael Meyer of Portland, Oregon; his sisters, Pauline Rock of Scottsdale, Arizona, Bettie Getty of Bluegrass, Iowa and Bobbe Burch; and his grandchildren, Gabriel Meyer, Sydney Jargo, Jonah Meyer and Ivan Anderson. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Jack Meyer and Julia Judy Janssen Meyer. A general memorial fund has been established in his memory.
