Angela Michelle (Breyer) Swick

Angela Michelle (Breyer) Swick, 47, of West Liberty, died at her home, on the early afternoon of Sunday, February 13, 2022. All services will be held at Fry Funeral Home; a Visitation from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, February 18, 2022 and Funeral Service at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 19, 2022. Angela will then be cremated and buried at the West Liberty Oak Ridge City Cemetery at a later date. After the funeral service, family will host a public Celebration of Life luncheon at the Tipton Golf and Country Club from 11:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com Angela, daughter of Norman Larry Breyer and Mary Annette Vang, was born on Monday, August 26, 1974 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Omaha, NE. Angela graduated from Oakland Craig High School in Oakland, NE and went on to earn her RN degree at Scott County Community College. Throughout her life, Angela worked as a nurse at Genesis Hospitals, University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and was the school nurse at both Bennett and West Liberty Schools. She also volunteered as a Paramedic on the Tipton and Bennett Ambulance Services. Angela was known for being an amazing nurse with a huge heart for anyone in need, but more than that, she dearly loved her daughter and others close to her. Angela is survived by her mother, Mary Vang of Center Point, IA; father, Norman Breyer of Grantsburg, WI; daughter, Madeline Swick of West Liberty, IA; brothers, Nick (Katy) Breyer of LaVernia, TX and Larry (Stacey) Breyer of Urbana, IA; grandmother, Bonnie Snyder of Goldfield, IA; nieces, Emma and Ava Curry of Oskaloosa, IA; nephews, Brodie Breyer, Jesse Breyer and Beau Breyer of Urbana, IA, Jack Breyer of LaVernia, TX, and Connor Breyer of O’Fallon, IL.
