Anna Marie Kraklio

Anna Marie Kraklio, 85, of Tipton, died suddenly Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2-5PM at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 9, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bennett, Iowa. At the conclusion of the funeral service, a luncheon will be held at the Bennett Community Center. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Cemetery in Bluegrass, Iowa. Anna was born May 23, 1929, daughter of Thomas and Elsie Goslowsky McCabe, in Davenport, Iowa. She attended the J.B. Young Intermediate School in Davenport, Iowa, completing the 9th grade. Anna was united in marriage to Wallace Kraklio in Rock Island, Illinois. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bennett and a Farm Bureau member. Over Anna's lifetime, she resided in Davenport, LeClair, Bennett and Tipton. She enjoyed listening to music, reading, visiting with family and friends, and camping. Anna is survived by her daughter, Bonnie J. Claussen of Tipton; sons, LaVerne W. King Jr. of Clarence, Iowa, Sanford (Pat) L. King of Olin, Iowa, Allan D. King of Tipton, and Roger (C.J.) D. King of DeWitt, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Faulkner; 7 step-children; grandchildren, Kolin King, Walter King, Shannon (Kevin) Schneider, Lynette (Brian) Buhrmen, Tammy Anderson, Richard (Tammy) King, Mike (Jessica) Claussen and Tim (Charlotte) Claussen; step-granddaughters, Kimberly (Paul) Kealey and Margo (Lonnie) Huskey; granddaughter-in-law, Jessica Hutchison; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-great-grandchildren; and nephew, Tom King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; and two sisters, Evelyn McCabe and Catherine King; and granddaughter, Ruth Warren.
