Arnold "Doc" Dean Krotz, 77, of Tipton, entered eternal rest November 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, Iowa. Arnold was born October 23, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa, son of James and Rose (Baker) Krotz. He attended Tipton High School through the 10th grade. Arnold was employed with the City of Tipton for 25 years, establishing life-long friendships with many. He was also a custodian at Kirkwood. Arnold had a talent very few knew about, music. He could play the piano beautifully, along with just about any instrument that was placed in and at his hands. Always kind, always polite, this is how Arnold is remembered. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Delores Krotz and brother, Lee Krotz.
