Barbara Kay Sherrick

Barbara Kay Sherrick (Adney), 57, of Tipton, died peacefully Sunday, December 22, 2013 in the home of her son, Lenny Winn. A celebration of life ceremony will be held Saturday January 11th, from 1 to 5 pm at Tavern on The Square. Barbara was born on June 3, 1956 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and was the daughter of Delbert Henry and Betty Ann Copper Adney. Barb was married to Donald Winn then later Cecil H. Sherrick both natives of Indiana. Barb worked at Rhino's for the past 7 years. She enjoyed NASCAR races and time spent with family and friends. Barb is survived by her mother Betty; daughter, Alisha Winn of Michigan City, IN; sons, Lenny Winn and wife, Renee, of Tipton, IA, Josh Sherrick and wife, Maryann, of Chesterton, TN, Shawn Sherrick of Gary, IN; sister, Kathy Thielen of Fayette, AR; brothers, Daniel Adney and wife, Cheryl, of Michigan City, IN, Dennis Adney of Lawrenceburg, KY, Dawyne Adney of What Cheer, IA, Darrell Adney of Cedar Rapids, IA and David Adney and wife, Dawn, of Lowden, IA; 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Adney and her brother, Donald Adney.
