Benjamin Earl Jones

Benjamin Earl Jones, infant son of Rev. Timothy and Christine Jones, died Monday, March 26, 2012, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 30, 11:00 am, Zion Lutheran Church in Wilton, Iowa with Rev. Joshua Reimche officiating and on Monday, April 2, at 10:30 am in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson, Iowa with the Rev. Lindsey Watkins, officiating. Burial will follow in the Jefferson City Cemetery. Benjamin, and his twin brother, Elijah, were born on February 29 in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to Timothy and Christine Bergmann Jones. Although his life on this earth was brief he profoundly affected the hearts and lives of his family and caregivers. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus where he lives eternally. Benjamin is survived by his parents, Rev. Timothy and Christine Jones and their children, Karl, Joanna and Elijah, who formerly served St. Paul Lutheran Church of Bennett and recently moved to Jefferson, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Peter and Maureen Bergmann of St. Francis, MN and Earl and Marlys Jones of Hayward, WI; maternal great grandfather, Rudolph Huehn of MN; aunts, Pam Barrick, Tina Callison and Megan Leon; uncles, Chad Bergmann, Timothy Bergmann, Jeff Jones, Daniel Jones and Matthew Jones.
