Blanche Ross, daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Emma A. Poole Ross, was born March 19, 1907, in Poweshiek County, Iowa. Blanche was employed as a watiress at the Minute Cafe and a clerk for DeKock's Drug Store. Blanche is survived by her nieces, Ardes Barnhart, of Deep River, Iowa and Marie Anderson, of Joshua, Texas; and a nephew, Bert Ross, of Deep River, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Emma Ross; her sisters, Verda Haag, Mae Hutchinson, Gladys VanCleave and Mabel Ross; and her brothers, John W. Ross, Guy Ross and Everett Ross.
