Bonnie Jean Donald, 77, of Bennett, died Monday, November 1, 2010 in the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, Iowa from complications of cancer. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home. Bonnie Jean Dale, daughter of James H. and Bessie Ellen Stone Dale, was born on June 25, 1933 in Lee Center, Illinois. Bonnie was united in marriage to Wayne Schwingle and later married Harry Delmar Donald on November 27, 1964 in Dike, Iowa. Bonnie owned and operated Bonnie's Pilot Service. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Harry Donald of Bennett, Iowa; her daughters, Ellen (Richard) Helmold of Bennett, Iowa; Brenda (Robert) Scott of Blue Grass, Iowa; Barbara (Shane) Reese of Des Moines, Iowa; her son, John Schwingle of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; sisters, Virgina Shoemaker of Dixon, Illinois; Hazel Swain of Omaha, Nebraska; Esther (Jon) Skor of San Francisco, California; brother, Paul (Connie) Dale of Littleton, Colorado; 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Daniel Schwingle and Bradley Donald; sisters, Rose Shoemaker and Lucille Kessel; and brother, Richard Dale.
