Brian Wurr Brian James Wurr, 58, died suddenly on December 9th, 2021 in New Port Ritchey, Florida where he had resided for the past several years. A Gathering of Friends & Family in Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the VFW in Tipton, 401 Lemon St from 1 pm to 4 pm. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com Brian, the son of Vincent and Betty (Knute) Wurr was born on Monday, August 5, 1963 in Waverly Iowa. He was the youngest of 7 children. The family moved to Tipton shortly after he was born. He graduated from Tipton High School. He drove dump truck for L.L. Pelling Co. for many years before moving to New Port Ritchey, Florida where he worked for Hillsborough County. Brian is survived by his sons, Jason (Lynzie) Wurr and Bradley (Blakely) Wurr both of Tipton and his 5 grandchildren, London, Lucas, Kyler, Bryson and Brynlee; sisters, Marge Vanden Brink of Pekin, Illinois; Sharon (Gary) Meiers of Tipton, Iowa; brothers, Tim (Cynthia) Wurr of Ottumwa, Iowa; Mark Wurr of Nichols, Iowa; brother-in-law, Joe Hellstern, of Hudson, Florida. Brian was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Vincent Wurr, brother David (Janice) Wurr; sister Patty Hellstern and brother-in-law Darrell Vanden Brink.
