C. June Kingsbury

C. June Kingsbury, daughter of Fred T. and Ellen S. Ghrist Adams, was born December 29, 1925 in Aurora, Illinois. She attended school in Tipton and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Tipton Senior Dining for 15 years. June was united in marriage to Raymond W. Reed on July 2, 1949, in Muscatine, Iowa and later wed David Kingsbury in December of 1963, in Muscatine. June was employed at the University of Iowa Hospital as a dietician and as a housekeeper in the Surgical OR. She later went to work at Hardees' baking cinnamon rolls and biscuits. June is survived by her daughters, Nancy Williams & husband, Bruce of Brooklyn, Iowa, Bonnie Swick & husband, Tod of Tipton, Iowa, Delores Spain & husband, Tommy of Waverly, Virginia, Mona Malone & husband, Phil of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Robin Ford & husband, Randy of Tipton, Iowa and Kathy Silvey & husband, Marvin of Kerrville, Texas; a son, Tom Reed & wife, Pam of Atalissa, Iowa; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Ellen Adams; her husbands, Raymond Reed and David Kingsbury; sisters, Mildred Katherine Howe and Minnie Yeater; and grandchildren, Jeremy Kleinsmith, Chris Reed and Beth Reed.
