Carl Bair

Carl E. Bair, son of Frank and Julia Marker Bair, was born May 14, 1923, in Cedar County, Iowa. On December 3, 1941, Carl was united in marriage to Norma Alice Bailey in Tipton, Iowa. Carl lived his life as a farmer. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge and Cedar County Saddle Club. Carl is survived by his daughters, Norma Jean Detert, of Ottawa, Illinois, Bonnie Irene Bair, of Maquoketa, Iowa and Carla Mae Bailey, and husband, Lester, of Anamosa, Iowa; eight grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Velma Svatosch, of Mt. Vernon, Iowa and Beverly Ohrt, of Tipton, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Julia Bair; his wife, Norma Bair, on April 8, 2001; brothers, Harold, Arnold and Darrell Bair; and a sister, Nellie Bair.
