Carolyn Fry

Carolyn (Connie) Louise Fry, was born April 10, 1932 in Henderson County, Illinois. She was one of seven children born to Carl Edwin and Esther Helen Johnson Peterson. Connie graduated from Stronghurst, Illinois High School. On June 22, 1952, Connie married the love of her life, James Keith Fry in Stronghurst, Illinois. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Fry Funeral Home & Furniture Store in Mediapolis. Connie was a Christian who believed in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Those left to grieve the loss of Connie are her sons, David (Debra) Fry of Tipton, Iowa, Robert A. Fry of Mediapolis, Iowa; grandchildren, Darren (Stephanie) Fry of Tipton, Iowa, Amber (Adam) Spangler of Tipton, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Ian Spangler, Isaac Spangler, Lexi Fry; sister, Mildred Martin of Oregon; brother, Dale Peterson of Morton, Illinois; step-grandchildren, Brad (Erin) O'Rourke of Tipton, Iowa, Josh O'Rourke of Tipton, Iowa; step great-grandchildren, Hannah O'Rourke, Micah McDowell, Maci O'Rourke; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friends that she deeply cherished. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Esther Peterson; husband, James Keith Fry on March 3, 1982; one sister, Helen Mattern; three brothers, Harold, Kenneth, and Roger Peterson.
