Catherine (Kay) Miller

Catherine Mary (Kay) Buresh Miller, daughter of John P. & Mary Florence (Mayme) Lynch Buresh, was born March 4, 1919 at home in Tipton, Iowa. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1937 and Tipton Junior College in 1940. Catherine was united in marriage to Leo Edward Miller on January 20, 1942 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. She was a devoted homemaker, farm wife and taught school in her early years. Catherine was a member of St. Mary's Guild, St. Bernadette's Circle and volunteered at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. She is survived by her husband, Leo Miller of Tipton, Iowa; daughters, Marjean Mente & husband, Mike of Tipton, Iowa and Marilyn Paul & husband, Chuck of Tipton, Iowa; sons, John Miller & wife, Linda of Tipton, Iowa, Larry Miller & fiancee, Lynda Grimm of Delhi, Iowa, and Maury Miller & wife, Gail of Tipton, Iowa; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Helen Costello & husband, Cyril of Davenport, Iowa and Marge Pelzer & husband, Paul of Tipton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
