Chad Armitage

Chad Elmer Armitage, son of Marsha Peterson Armitage and George Ivan Armitage, Jr. was born on April 7, 1975 in Maryville, Missouri. Chad attended Lin-Mar School and later obtained his GED. He was planning to enroll in Kirkwood College this fall. He was of the Methodist faith. Chad died of an aneurysm in his mother's home on July 16 where he had recently made his home. Surviving is his mother and father, Marsha Armitage of Marion, Iowa and his father, George Armitage and wife, Barbara, of Plano, Texas; his grandparents, Elmer and Jean Peterson of Tipton, Iowa; his aunt, Rita Harbaugh of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his uncle, Glenn Peterson of Waterloo, Iowa; and his dog, Max. Chad was preceded in death by his brother, George Ivan Armitage, III on August 11, 2006. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Tipton Masonic Cemetery in Tipton, Iowa.
