Charles Franklin Albaugh, son of Charles O. and Doris Rogers Albaugh, was born August 11, 1920, in Cedar County, Iowa. He attended school in Tipton and Stanwood. On January 13, 1944, Charles was united in marriage to Cleora Arlene Buhman in Tipton, Iowa. He served in the United States Marines during WWII. Charles dedicated his life to farming. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Farm Bureau, A.S.C., Past Board of Directors for First National Bank of Tipton and the Mechanicsville American Legion. Charles is survived by his sons, Marvin and Donna Albaugh, of Lisbon, Iowa and Dennis and Carol Albaugh, of Tipton, Iowa; his grandchildren, Brad Albaugh, of Lisbon, Iowa, Jodee Burnett, of Kansas City, Missouri, Tara Albaugh, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Jeff Albaugh and Scott Albaugh, both of Bel Plaine, Iowa; and his great-grandchildren, Greta, Colton, Grant, Sophia, Kristopher and Deven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris Albaugh; and sisters, Margery Laing and Nellie Ehresman.
