June 25, 1954 — June 12, 2015

Cheryl Ann Kitchen, 60, of Tipton, Iowa, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 from complications following surgery in the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Cheryl will be cremated following the visitation and there will be a memorial service on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 am, Fry Funeral Home. Burial will follow be in the Red Oak Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in her honor and online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. The daughter of Roy Oral Brockway and Lois Ann Drake Brockway, Cheryl was born on June 25, 1954 in Iowa Falls, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa Falls High School and later married Darrell Woodward they later divorced and then she moved to Lexington, KY. Cheryl returned to Iowa and worked as a Dietary Cook at the Cedar Manor Nursing Home. She cooked many meals for the residents and enjoyed her co-workers. She was a very dedicated employee. Cheryl loved to give of herself. She always gave everything she had to whatever task she was doing. Cheryl was always thinking of others. She was a great example of selflessness. She was a great friend but also a "grandma" to many. Cheryl loved to spend time with her grandkids. She really loved to feed them snacks, but most of all, play cards with them. Cheryl also loved NASCAR. Her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, #3. Cheryl is survived by her daughter and husband, Carrie and Tim Bisbee of Tipton, Iowa, sons Brandon Woodward of Wilton, Iowa and Brian Woodward and fiancé
