Son of Kathleen Short and Mitchell Meiers of Clarence, IA, Christopher is survived by, sisters, Lexi Jarchow and Lyla Meiers; grandparents, Marlene Short of Hawkeye, IA and Richard and Lisa Meiers of Solon, IA; aunts, Jennifer Short of Hawkeye, IA and Melissa (Ryan) Waddell of Tipton, IA; and uncle, Richard Short III of Dyersville, IA.

Christopher will live forever in the hearts of those who anticipated his life.
