Craig Marshall Williams, 59, of Bennett, formerly of Tipton, died suddenly on Friday, November 27 in his home near Bennett. Military rites will be held on Wednesday, December 2 at 2:00 pm, Tipton VFW Post 2537, 401 Lemon Street, Tipton. A time of food, fellowship and sharing will follow at the VFW. A general memorial fund has been established in Craig's memory and online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Craig was the son of Marvin and Kathleen Clements Williams. He was born on January 24, 1956 in Norfolk, Virginia. Craig graduated from Tipton High School and later served his country in the United States Air Force. Craig was united in marriage to Kim Anne Jones on October 30, 1997 in Morehead, Kentucky. Craig worked as plant manager for Plasticraft and production supervisor at Dickton Mosh and mediplast. He loved the Iowa Hawkeyes, Quad City Mallards and the Detroit Redwings, muzzleloader hunting, outdoors and being sent to Alaska while serving in the Air Force. Craig is survived by his wife, Kim of Bennett; three daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Redlinger of Tipton, Iowa, Heidi James (Jeremiah) of Wilton, Iowa, Tracy (Larry) Covington of Marion, Iowa; his father, Marvin Williams of Tipton, Iowa; three brothers, Charles (Rae) Williams of Tipton, Iowa, Mark Williams of Miami, Florida, Mike (Linda) Williams of Dike, Iowa; 11 grandchildren, Michael Alyn, Chris, Skyler, Dominic, Damon, Derek, Dylan, Devin, Quintin, Olivia and one on the way, Donovan. Also, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen (Smokie) Williams.
