Daniel Busse

Daniel Webster Busse, the son of Henry & Anna VanGerpen Busse was born January 21, 1912, in Aplington, Iowa. He was a 1929 graduate of Aplington High School. Daniel was united in marriage to Lola Grace Davis on February 3, 1940 in Parkersburg, Iowa. Daniel was employed as a Service Technician for Sprint Telephone Company. He was a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church, Telephone Pioneers and a past volunteer fireman. He is survived by his children, Susan Kline & husband, Jim of Gilmer, Texas, Linda Kline & husband, Tom of Durango, Iowa, Craig Busse & wife, Christine of Vienna, Georgia and Beth Fowler & husband, David of Crawfordsville, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Sharon Busse of Marion, Iowa; 17 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. He was peceded in death by his parents, Henry & Anna Busse; wife, Lola Busse; son, Ellis Busse; brothers, Wa;ter and Harold ; and sister, Swanetta Oldenberger.
