Danny Lee Flora

Danny L. Flora, 47 years old, died peacefully in his home on Friday, July 4th from complications of cancer. Visitation will be held at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton on Friday, July 11th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with Words of Sharing and a Celebration of Danny's Life beginning at 6:00 pm. Annette requests that you dress casual. Danny was born on December 14, 1966 in Iowa City, Iowa to Curtis and Norma Hopkins Flora. Danny was united in marriage to Annette Skladzien on August 7, 2000 in Muscatine, Iowa. Danny was a member of the Johnson County Archers, the Illinois Iowa Treasure Hunters Club and was of the Christian faith. Danny was a truck driver for the past 15 years for Wendling Quarries. Danny had lived in Newton, Iowa City and Des Moines. Danny is survived by his wife, Annette of Tipton, Iowa; his father, Curtis Flora of Tipton, Iowa; his sister, Tammy Roark of Des Moines, Iowa; his brothers, Bart Flora of Tipton, Iowa and Scott Flora of Burlington, Iowa. mother and father-in-law, Charline and Burt Thumm of Tipton, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Judy Jenkins of Tipton, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Bailey Sample, Taylor Sample, Charlie Jenkins, Harli Jenkins and Charlotte Blair; great nieces and nephews, Raleigh, Kaiden, Addie and Gywn;. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Flora, and his brother, Bret Flora.
