Darlene Beverly Leaf

Darlene Beverly Leaf, 83, Tipton, died January 14, 2011 at Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab. Services will be held at a later date. Darlene was born July 18, 1927 the daughter of Joseph Hugh and Elva Charlotte Schisler Rife. She was a 1945 graduate of Tipton High School and attended Tipton Jr. College. Darlene married Robert Eugene Leaf on June 6, 1949 in Tipton, IA. Darlene is survived by her daughters, Ginger A. Ford and Gwen S. Emrich both of Tipton; sons, Robert Leaf, Jr. of Hazelton, Wayne Leaf of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Marvin Rife of Knobnoster, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on June 5, 2002, sisters, Marie Wood, Myrna Rife, Mary Starkey, Elva Gade, Hazel Bosley, and Donna Fabor; brothers, Floyd, Glen, and Paul Rife.
