David Ford

David Warren Ford, son of Daniel w. and Ammitte L. Proctor Ford, was born May 10, 1945 in Iowa City, Iowa. He attended school in Tipton while growing up. On October 17, 1980, David was united in marriage to Rebecca Sue Taylor in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was employed at CDS as a mechanic from 1985 until retirement in 2000. David is loved and remembered by his wife, Rebecca Ford of Tipton, Iowa; daughter, Heather Ford of Tipton, Iowa; son, Joseph Ford of Tipton, Iowa; brother, John Ford and wife, Joyleen of West Liberty, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Daniel; and son Timmy. A memorial has been established in memory of David.
