Deanna Faye Gritton

Funeral services for Deanna Faye Gritton, 67, of Rochester who died Wednesday, August 21, 2013, will be held Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11:00 am at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Pastor Ron Lashmit will be officiating. There will be a visitation at Fry Funeral Home from 10:00 - 11:00 am prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at the Rochester Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established in memory of Deanna. Deanna, daughter of Robert William and Margaret Lucille Morgan Pierce, was born February 5, 1946 in Iowa City. She attended Rochester Country School while growing up. On September 16, 1961, Deanna was united in marriage to Darrell Vearl Gritton. She was a homemaker and member of the Rochester Methodist Church. Deanna is survived by her husband Darrell Gritton of Rochester; daughter, Crystal (Henry) Harden of Rochester; sons, Roger (Carolyn) Gritton of Buchanan, and Rick (Joanne) Gritton of Rochester; grandchildren, Morgan and Chandler Harden and Taylor and Spencer Gritton; step-grandchildren, Adrienne Mesick, Jaclyn Harden, Lacy Schmitz, and Audie Puck. She was preceded in death by her parents.
