Donald Zaruba

Donald Franklin Zaruba, son of Frank & Ester Nissen Zaruba, was born September 27, 1921, in Jones County, Iowa. He graduated from Olin High School in 1939. He worked as a farmer and was employed by F.J Krob in Solon, Iowa. On June 24, 1950, Donald was united in marriage to Peg Kramer at the Methodist Church in Olin, Iowa. Donald was a member of the Rochester Masonic Lodge. Donald is survived by his wife, Peg Zaruba of Tipton, Iowa; his sons, Steve Zaruba of Guttenberg, Iowa and Scott Zaruba & wife, MaryAnn of Arnold, Maryland; sister, Carmen Brown & husband, Glenn of Anamosa, Iowa; and grandchildren, Fritz and Tucker. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial has been established for tipton Senior Dining or Shriners Children's Hospital.
