Donna Belle Johnson

Donna Belle Johnson, 80, of Tipton, died early Monday morning, April 7, 2014, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 11 at 10:30 at the Tipton Bible Church in Tipton. Burial will follow in the Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Donna was born on November 28, 1933 in Osceola, Iowa and was the daughter of Vernie G. and Roxy Cook Proctor. She was united in marriage to Keith Eldon Johnson on April 19, 1959 in Osceola. She was a Telephone Operator for the Nevada Telephone Company in Nevada, Iowa and the Clarke County Telephone in Osceola, Iowa and as a homemaker. She has been a member of the Tipton Bible Church since 1967. Donna is survived by her husband, Keith, of Tipton, Iowa; children, Priscilla (Bill) Plate of Goose Creek, SC., Lois (Alan) Rees of New Paris, Indiana, Mark (Susan) Johnson of Tipton, Iowa, Esther (Kevin) Klotz of DeKalb, Illinois; grandchildren, Abigale, Anna , David and Rachael; sisters, Frances Wright of Osceola, Iowa, Lela Grove of Edmond, Washington, Viola (Bob) McNeil of Centerville, Iowa; brothers, Eldon Proctor of Osceola, Iowa and Ernie Proctor of Grand River, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Verna Christian and Dorothy Holmes; brothers, Darrel Proctor, Robert Proctor and Bud Proctor.
