Dorothy Wilhelmina Lehrman Doermann, the daughter of Carl and Minnie Horstman Lehrman, was born June 27, 1915, in Mechanicsville, Iowa. She was a 1934 graduate of Stanwood High School. On January 5, 1941, Dorothy was united in marriage to Erwin Christian Doermann at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence, Iowa. Dorothy was a homemaker and farmed with her husband near Tipton. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ and St. Mary's Circle in Tipton. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Dorothy is loved and survived by her husband, Erwin C. Doermann of Tipton, Iowa; daughters, Elaine (Mrs. Ron) Clemmens of Yukon, Oklahoma, Sharon (Mrs. Rodney) Laucamp of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Shelly (Brian) Boyd and Matt Pruess of Mechanicsville, Iowa, Brian (Tammy) Clemmens, Brad (Tracy) Clemmens, and Brent (Kristi) Clemmens all of Yukon, Oklahoma; great- grandchildren, Nick and Parker Boyd of Mechanicsville, Iowa, Ashley Clemmens, Blake Clemmens, Collin Clemmens, and Baylee Clemmens of Yukon, Oklahoma; step grandchild, Chad Laucamp of Chicago, Illinois; step great-grandchild, Zachary Linhardt of San Diego, California; sister, Leona Doermann of Tipton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Alice Lehrman, and an infant sister who died at birth. A memorial has been established in memory of Dorothy.
