Dorothy Louise Feldman

Dorothy L. Feldman, 88, of Tipton, passed away Sunday evening at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 am, Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial will follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Dorothy was born on October 11, 1926 in Cedar County, Iowa and was the daughter of John and Gladys Christian Laucamp. On December 14, 1947 Dorothy was united in marriage to Ralph Henry Feldman in Wilton. Together they raised five children and spent their life farming. They were past members of the Olin Methodist Church and are currently members of the Tipton United Methodist Church. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Lois Gardner, of Tipton, Iowa, Linda (Michael) Jasudowicz, of Swisher, Iowa, and Gwen (Thomas) McMahon, of Mt. Vernon, Iowa; sons, Michael (Cheryl) Feldman of Williamsburg, Iowa, David Feldman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Martha Edler of Elk Run, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Ralph); sister, Elva Anderson and brothers, Harvey, Wilber and Robert Laucamp.
