Elaine Regennitter

Elaine was born on August 9, 1950 in Iowa City to Ambrose and Gladys (Metz) Kron. She graduated from Highland High School and worked with her husband, Craig, at Regennitter Electric for 25 years. She spent many years volunteering her time teaching kids golf, serving on the Bennett Community Club, and being a board member at Tipton Country Club. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, working at Curves, and spending time with all of her friends. She is survived by her husband Craig, daughters, Abby Regennitter of Cedar Rapids, and Angela and husband, Jad Murphy of Forest Lake, Minnesota, her granddaughters, Macy, Jocelyn, and Regan Murphy. Also left to share in her memory are her father, Ambrose of Hills, seven sisters and two brothers, Karen Boddicker (friend Rick Achenbach) of Cedar Rapids, LeAnn and husband, Gary Walsh, Mary Jane and husband, Terry Stumpf, Lois and husband, Nathan Kasdorf, Louis and wife, Pam Kron all of Riverside, Rita and husband, Bob Foley of Iowa City, Betty and husband, Duane Hayes of Washington, Doris and husband, Dale Mougin of Columbus Junction, and Dennis Kron of Madison, Wisconsin. Elaine was preceded in death by her mother, infant daughter, Amy, brother, Joseph and father-in-law Norman.
