Eleanor Mae Woodson

Eleanor M. Woodson, 96 years old, died peacefully at Cedar Manor in Tipton on Saturday, March 12, 2016. She was born June 11, 1919 and was the daughter of Arthur and Margaret Glennon Farr. Eleanor was a long time resident of Cedar Rapids. She attended St. Patrick Church and school in Cedar Rapids. She went back to school at the age of 70 to obtain her high school diploma. Eleanor enjoyed music, dancing and she loved her family. A wonderful mom, homemaker and worked at Younkers for 10 years. Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Welch of New Liberty, Iowa, and son George "Woody" Woodson and wife Judy, of Cedar Rapids; 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Roger Krug.
