Emerson Wayne Weimann

Graveside services for Emerson Wayne Weimann, 81 of Tipton will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm, Clarence City Cemetery. Mr. Weimann passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospitals. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Emerson was born November 12, 1934 in rural Cedar County to Henry and Ruth (Helble) Weimann. He attended Cedar County Schools. Emerson married the love of his life, Evangeline Joan in Tipton on January 31, 1960. They were later blessed with 2 children: Martin and Eric. They resided in the Clarence and Tipton areas. Emerson's employment years were spent being a farmer, truck driver for the late Charles Linn, production worker at the Cheese factory and the latest years being spent at Wal-Mart. He was a member of Calvary FourSquare Church. Surviving Emerson are his wife, Joan; sons, Martin (Becky) Weimann and Eric (Cathy) Weimann; grandchildren, Stephen and Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Clella Webb.
