Esther Mccroskey

Esther E. McCroskey, daughter of Louis & Caroline Rixe Wendt, was born June 16, 1913, on a rural farm in Lowden, Iowa. She attended Lowden Lutheran school while growing up. On June 30, 1930, Esther was united in marriage to Marvin McCroskey in Tipton, Iowa. Esther was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Tipton. Esther enjoyed flowers, crafting and playing cards. She cherished her time with family and friends. Esther is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin McCroskey in 1982; brothers, Hugo, Ernest, Herman, Harry and Raymond; and sisters, Alma, Selma and Lydia. A general memorial fund has been established in honor of Esther.
