Esther Puls

Esther Ann Puls, daughter of Alfred and Elsie Schneckloth Christensen, was born August 29, 1921 in Bennett, Iowa. She was united in marriage on October 11, 1941 to Vernon John Puls in Kahoka, Missouri. Esther devoted her life to her family and her home. She is loved and survived by her son, Kevin Jon (Donna) Puls of Iowa City, Iowa; daughter, Pamela Ann (Jim) Dodds of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Danielle Puls, Stephanie Fry, Chelsea Puls, Kelly Blegen, Jill Holstein, Christina Johnson; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Blegen, Paige Blegen, Avery Holstein, Zoe Holstein, Caylee Johnson, Celsey Johnson, Lexi Fry; and sister, Janet Small of Davenport, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; son, Michael; sisters, Elda Norton, Phyllis Ede, and Joann Fisher. Memorial contributions will be donated to various charities.
