Eugene Byerly

Eugene Charles Byerly, son of Charles William and Selma Martha Pincklemen Byerly, was born in Sumner, Iowa on July 10, 1934. He graduated from Waterloo High School. On June 20, 1980, Eugene was united in marriage to Mary Jessica McAfee in Tipton, Iowa. Eugene was employed at the John Deere Foundry in Waterloo for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of U.A.W. in Waterloo, Iowa and served in the in the Marine Reserves. He attended Calvary Four Square Church in Tipton. Eugene is survived by his wife, Mary Byerly of Tipton, Iowa; daughters, Gina Boysen, Cheryl Greene and Robin Beak all of Waterloo, Iowa; sons, Richard Byerly of Waterloo, Iowa, Randy Byerly of Tipton, Iowa, and Aaron Byerly of Glenwood, Iowa; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Donna Moch of Newburg, Missouri and Kathryn Byerly of Waterloo, Iowa; and brothers, Wayne Byerly of Omaha, Nebraska and Ralph Byerly of Yucca Valley, California. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Selma Byerly; sister, Edith Damme; and grandson, Matthew Jo Byerly
