Eugene Rohlf

Eugene W. Rohlf, son of Walter and Edna Stoltenberg Rohlf, was born August 29, 1925, in Bennett, Iowa. Eugene graduated from Bennett High School on April 3, 1948. He was united in marriage to Delores E. Hillmann in Wheatland, Iowa. Eugene and Delores farmed for 46 years and retired in Tipton in 1994. Eugene was part-owner of Bennett Equipment Corp. in the early 1970's, served on several boards and was involved with various community projects. Eugene is survived by his wife, Delores, his daughter, Patricia Barglof, & husband, Bill, of Bennett, Iowa; his son, James Rohlf, & wife, Karen, also of Bennett; his grandchildren, Mark Barglof, & wife, Ericka, Jamie Rohlf and Jason Rohlf; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Edna Rohlf; and an infant brother, Vernon.
