Francis Schilling

Francis Harold Schilling, son of Lance Milo and Ruby Blanche Koblentz Schilling, was born February 10, 1923, in rural Cedar County, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Geraldine Hulda Ford in Kansas City, Missouri on October 17, 1950. Francis worked in his father's furniture store, for the U.S. Postal Service and previously owned and operated the Hardacre Theater. He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows and the Rochester United Methodist Church. Francis is loved and survived by his wife, Geraldine Schilling of Tipton, Iowa; sister, JoAnn (Richard) Jones of Manchester, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald Schilling; in-laws, Jack & Lorraine Ford; and brother-in-law, Mike Ford and his wife, Nancy. A general memorial fund has been established in memory of Francis.
