George Charles Stuckey, son of Charles William and Louise Francis Zerbe Stuckey, was born April 16, 1926 in Tipton, Iowa. He was a Tipton High School graduate. George served in the US Army - Air Force. He owned and operated Stuckey Plumbing & Heating. On June 18, 1948, George was united in marriage to Jean Harriet Biggs at Trinity Lutheran Church in Tipton. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a past member of the Tipton VFW. George is survived by his wife, Jean Harriet Biggs Stuckey of Tipton, Iowa; his daughters, Jennifer Stuckey Leslie and husband, Robert of West Branch, Iowa; and Laura Stuckey Schott and husband, Kenneth of Tipton, Iowa; a son, Monte Stuckey and wife, Barb of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Daniel, Quincy and Wesley Schott, Christopher Stuckey, and Ian and Madeline Leslie; sisters, Shirley Callahan of Coralville, Iowa, Phyllis Callahan of Iowa City, Iowa, Patsy Schlueter of Tipton, Iowa, Judy Buddenbaum of Iowa City, Iowa and Kitty Highley of Iowa City, Iowa; a brother, Max Stuckey of Arvado, Colorado; and his cat, Mini Pearl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Louise Stuckey; a sister, Vivian Ellis; a brother, Ronald Stuckey; and nephew, Gary Schlueter. A memorial has been established in honor of George to the Friends of the Animals and the Tipton Ambulance. The family asks that you join them for a luncheon at the Tipton VFW following the graveside committal service.
