Grace Viola Lightner, 92, formerly of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, entered eternity on Friday, May 22, 2015 in Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 6:00 pm, Cedar Street Baptist Church, Tipton, with Pastors Brian Wilkins and Jerry Backus officiating. A social time to greet her family will be held at the church following the services. The Grace Lightner Memorial Fund has been established in her memory. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Grace was born on July 29, 1922 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Dunn Sanders. Grace was united in marriage to Earl Richard Lightner on July 25, 1946 in Cumberland, Maryland. Grace worked as a secretary for Westinghouse Electric in Pittsburg, PA. and Garder Motors in Endicott, New York. She was a member of the Sweet Adeline's, Binghamton, NY Chapter and after she and Earl moved to Tipton they became members of the Cedar Street Baptist Church. Grace is survived by her husband, Earl Richard Lightner of Tipton; her daughter, Patricia (Henry) Husemann of Tipton; adopted children, Debbie (Rick) Woods of Flippin, Arkansas and Ronald Stoner of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; sister, Hazel Brock of Binghamton, NY; grandchildren, Robert Jr, Dustin, Violet, Bridger, Elizabeth and Emmarie Husemann. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Paul Lightner; brother, George Sanders; sisters, Elizabeth Freise, Margaret Pertinaci, Edith Stanley and Beatrice Taylor.
