Harvey Kleppe

Harvey John Adam Kleppe, son of William and Minnie Rohwedder Kleppe, was born June 29, 1915, in Cedar County, Iowa. Harvey attended school in Bennett while growing up. He was united in marriage to Jeanette Lillian Fox on December 6, 1939, in Wheatland, Iowa. Harvey lived his life as a farmer and was a member of First United Church of Christ in Bennett. Harvey is survived by his son, Verle Kleppe and wife, Nancy of Bennett, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Sharon Kleppe of Bennett, Iowa; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Minnie Kleppe; wife, Jeanette Kleppe, sons, Ardell Kleppe and Loren Kleppe; brother, Vernon Kleppe; and sister, Bernice Kleppe. A memorial fund has been established in memory of Harvey.
