Harvey Rudolph Laucamp, son of John Joseph and Blanche Christian Laucamp, was born October 3, 1922 in Rochester Township, Cedar County, Iowa. He attended school in Rochester. Harvey served in the United States Army. Harvey was united in marriage to Anna Mae Voss on December 22, 1947, a marriage that was to span 60 years and bless them with one daughter and two sons. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and hunting, pheasant, duck, squirrel, and rabbit. He was a 50 year member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. From 1946-2007, Harvey owned and operated Harvey's Pump Service in Tipton. Harvey is loved and survived by his daughter, Diana Green and husband, Dan of LeClaire, Iowa; sons, Rodney Laucamp and wife, Sharon of Tipton, Iowa, Randy Laucamp and wife, Gayle of Tipton, Iowa; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Alva Anderson of Bondurant, Iowa, Martha Edler of Waterloo, Iowa, and Dorothy Feldman of Olin, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Anna Mae Laucamp on February 22, 2008; and his brothers, Bob and Wilbur.
