Funeral services for Helen Elizabeth Hamann, 94, of Tipton who died Friday, January 18, 2013, will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton with Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Online condolences and photos may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. A memorial has been established in her memory. Helen was born March 24, 1918, in Wilton, Iowa. She was the daughter of Richard H. and Hazel Elizabeth Woode Laucamp. Helen was a 1936 graduate of Tipton High School. Helen worked as a wallpaper hanger and a painter. Helen was a member of South Bethel Methodist Church. She enjoyed writing poetry and had a love for animals, especially her cats. Helen is survived by her daughters, Linda Hamann of West Liberty, Iowa, Lisa Fox of Montgomery, Alabama, Iowa; son, Robert Hamann of Petersburg, Illinois and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Glen and Paul Michael Hamann; sisters, Virginia (William) Lenihan and Janice Timmerman; grandchildren, Michael Stewart Hamann and John Richard "Jason" Mead.
