Helen Mitchell

Helen Gladys Mitchell, daughter of Tolbert and Susie Whitehead Mitchell, was born December 19, 1908, in Tipton, Iowa. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1927. She was employed as a school teacher and a secretary for Dr. O'Neill and Dr. Kent until retirement. Helen was a member of the Cedar County Historical Society. Survivors are guardians, Elmer and Cuba Flory of Tipton, Iowa; and several cousins.
