Helen Anne Pentecost, 93 passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton. Graveside services will be held at Inland Cemetery, Bennett on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 3:00 PM. Casket bearers will be Jim Cromer, Matt Treasure, Steve Treasure, Craig Burris, David Dahl, and Bricen Krafock. A visitation will be held from 2-3, Saturday at Fry Funeral Home, 220 East Sixth Street in Tipton. Memorials may be made to Cedar Manor Nursing Home. On-line condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Helen was born February 2, 1918, in rural Bennett to John and Lucy Pohlmann Dahl. She attended country school and lived within Cedar County all of her life. On October 12, 1942, Helen was united in marriage to Monte Clair Pentecost in Kahoka, Missouri. She was a homemaker and farmwife. Helen is survived by her daughters, Jane (Craig) Burris of Long Grove, Iowa, Linda (Steve) Treasure of Kirksville, Missouri; grandchildren, Jim (Rachelle) Cromer, Matt Treasure, Elizabeth (Dustin) Hotz, Sarah Treasure; great grandchildren, Timothy and Conor Cromer, Lily Hotz; 3 nephews; and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Monte in 1983; sisters, Ella Dahl, Edna Krafock; and brother, Oscar Dahl.
