James Michael Lynch

James "Jimmy" Michael Lynch, 44, of Tipton, died peacefully of cancer in his home on Saturday, June 14, 2014. A funeral to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, June 18 at 2:00 pm, Fry Funeral Home, Tipton with the Rev. Ron Lashmit officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar County Home Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral at Fry's. Jimmy was born on February 25, 1970 in Rock Island, Illinois and was the son of Gilbert E. and Linda Gale Viar Lynch. He graduated from Porterville High School in Porterville, California. Jimmy was a professional sheetrock hanger and was considered an expert at his craft. He loved music, playing guitar and being with family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Linda Lynch of Tipton, Iowa; sister, Anita Craig of Moscow, Iowa; brothers, Gilbert Lynch of Tipton and Ronald Lynch of Durant, Iowa.
