Janet Rose Small

Janet Rose Small, 88, of Davenport and formerly of Bennett, entered eternity late Saturday night, July 18, 2020 in the peaceful surroundings of the Kahl Home in Davenport. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 22 at 11:00 am in the Inland Cemetery, Bennett, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22 prior to the graveside service from 10:00 to 10:45 at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Please mail all cards and condolences to 3104 W. Janet came into this world on November 22, 1931 in Bennett, Iowa. She was the daughter of James L. and Elsie Schneckloth Small. Janet was raised in Bennett where she attended the Bennett School and the Peace Church. Janet was a nurse’s aide most of her life caring for others who could not care for themselves.

Janet is survived by several nieces and nephews and one brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters; Joan (her twin) Fisher, Esther Puls, Elda Norton and Phyllis Ede.
