Jean Rumble

Jean Elizabeth Hahn Rumble, daughter of George M. and Nellie Mae McKinney Hahn, was born in Dubuque, Iowa. She was a 1933 graduate of Davenport High School and attended business college. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross National Staff. Jean was employed as a secretary and worked in accounting. Jean was a member of the Tipton United Methodist Church, Tipton Country Club, Searchlight Club, Eastern Star and various bridge clubs. On July 7, 1935, Jean was united in marriage to James D. France in Davenport and later married Allen Sam" Rumble on June 17 1967 in Tipton Iowa. Jean is survived by her sons Jim France and wife Linda of Boulder Junction Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and her son-in-law Ron Emrich of Tipton Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents her husbands brother Bob daughter M.J. Emrich and one great-granddaughter Margaret Anne Emrich. Memorials may be made to the Tipton United Methodist Church or St. Luke's Hospice."
