Jennifer Gail (Zimmer) Brobst

Jennifer Gail Brobst, 59, of Mechanicsville, passed away very peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, September 12, 2020 in her home. Jennifer had requested that she be cremated following her death and her family will celebrate her life privately at a later date. Jennifer was born on March 18, 1961 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was the daughter of James and Marlene (LaBrosse) Zimmer. Jennifer grew up in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1979. Jennifer was united in marriage to David Brobst on April 15, 1983 in Tipton. Jennifer worked as a sales clerk for Casey’s and Walmart until her health declined. Family remember Jennifer most for her great sense of humor, caring and loving attitude and her love of spending time with her family. Jennifer is survived by her husband, David Brobst of Mechanicsville, her two children, Owen and Nathan (Samantha) Brobst, brother, Greg Zimmer; sister, Jacqueline Zimmer-Jones; and one grandchild James “Tripp” Brobst. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jeffrey Guy Zimmer.
