Joyce Jackson

Joyce Ann Clark Jackson, daughter of Robert Ivan and Evelyn Ford Clark, was born April 27, 1944 in Stanwood, Iowa. She was a 1962 graduate of Lincoln Consolidated Schools and attended Paris Cosmetology Academy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Joyce was united in marriage to LeRoy Everett Jackson on July 17, 1964 in Stanwood, Iowa. She was employed by Wal-Mart in Tipton for 20 years. Joyce was a past member of Iowa Hereford Auxiliary and Iowa Jr. Hereford Association Advisory. She belonged to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stanwood. Joyce is survived by her husband, LeRoy Jackson of Mechanicsville, Iowa; daughter, Nicole Jackson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sons, Brian (Barbara) Jackson of North English, Iowa, Brad (Kelly) Jackson of Tipton, Iowa, Crag Jackson of Mechanicsville, Iowa; mother, Evelyn Clark of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Luke Nathan and Jacob Jackson of North English, Iowa and Chase Jackson of Tipton, Iowa; sister, Betty Jean (Chuck) Johnson of Mechanicsville, Iowa; brother, James (Mary) Clark of Tipton, Iowa; and in-laws, Buell and Helen Jackson of Mechanicsville, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Clark. Joyce's family would like to thank all who sent cards, who make phone calls, those who kept them in their prayers, and Mercy Hospice of Cedar Rapids. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in memory of Joyce.
